In October of 2018, Burke Recovery, on behalf of BSAN was awarded a national Drug-Free Communities (DFC) grant which will provide prevention funding for five years.
The goal of Drug-Free Burke is to prevent underage drinking and non-medical use of prescription drugs in Burke County. For more information and an overview of the program about the DFC program through SAMHSA, click here.

Brandi Greer, AAS, CDAC-R
Kim James is the Executive Director of Burke Recovery and holds the oversight responsibility for the Drug-Free Burke program.
Brandi Greer is a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor with Burke Recovery who plans and coordinates BSAN and Drug-Free Burke activities; including training, communication, data collection and information dissemination.
Nicholas Ellis works directly with middle and high school students through prevention counseling and education.
